Did you know that the Carnegie Public Library provides access to thousands of magazines, poems, newspaper articles and other information sources through its online databases? And in some cases, you don't even have to come to the library to have access. If you have a home computer and a library card, you can log on using your card number or passwords provided by the library.

This is a fiction database that provides subject
heading access, reviews, annotations, and much more for over
135,000 fiction titles. It also includes other content of
interest to fiction readers, such as Author Read-alikes, What
We're Reading, Book Discussion Guides, BookTalks, and Annotated
Book Lists. For school media specialists and teachers there
are Picture Book Extenders and articles on Teaching with Fiction.

resource allows you to discover the fiction titles that are

classroom. The NoveList Learning Center provides a complete
introduction to the product and shows you how to use NoveList

is the industry's most used business research database, providing
the full text for more than 8,800 serials. Business Source
Premier provides full text back to 1965 (or the first
issue published for that journal) and searchable cited references
back as far as 1998. Journal ranking studies reveal that Business
Source Premier is the superior to the competition in
full text coverage in all disciplines of business, including
marketing, management, MIS, POM, accounting, finance and economics.

With over 100,000 encyclopedia articles, Britannica Online contains comprehensive coverage on
almost any subject. Each major discipline has thousands of articles in Encyclopædia Britannica
and Britannica Concise Encyclopedia so you can find answers to all of your questions.
Both the Library Edition and School Edition of Britannica Online also contain the Compton’s
Encyclopedia by Britannica and the Britannica Elementary Encyclopedia, adding thousands more

patrons with a way to obtain materials their local library
does not have in its collection. This link will allow you to find out if another area library has what you want.
Once you enter the site (at http://swift.aclin.org), choose the button on the left that says "BibSearch" and then choose one of the options in the drop down box in the box. Choosing "ALL LIBRARIES" will result in a long wait with many hits. Choosing "SouthEast Search" will take less time because it will only search libraries in southeastern Colorado, but the results will not be as complete. Click here for more information.
